The idea of Arion

The vision for Arion Chess Club was born with the goal of creating a modern chess community focused on competition, development, and long-term growth.

Arion becomes an Organization

Arion officially took its first steps as a registered organization, laying the foundation for the club’s future activities and development.

Joining the Cyprus Chess Federation

The club joined the Cyprus Chess Federation, becoming part of the official chess structure in Cyprus and entering the national chess community.

January 1, 2019

Affiliation with KOA

Arion continued its development through affiliation with the Cyprus Sports Organisation (KOA), strengthening its position as an organized sports club.

First Tournaments & Community Events
